ENGLISH TOFFEE PUDDING
ENGLISH TOFFEE PUDDING
as found in the book “OPERATION VITTLES COOKBOOK”

2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon cocoa powder
1/2 cup butter
2 egg yolks
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup nuts (chopped & toasted)
2 egg whites (stiffly beaten)
1/2 box vanilla wafers (rolled to crumbs)
DIRECTIONS
- Sift sugar and cocoa together
- Mix with butter.
- Add egg yolks and vanilla.
- Beat well.
- Add Nuts.
- Fold in egg whites.
- Line loaf pan with wax-paper.
- Sprinkle half crumbs on bottom.
- Pour in mixture.
- Top with crumbs.
- Put in refrigerator several hours or over-night.
